Math Square is a fun challenge based on logic where you solve a series of puzzles with short math equations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. To solve them, however, you’ll have to follow a series of rules that will test you in many different ways.
Gameplay is incredibly simple. Similar to Sudoku, in Math Square, you can’t repeat a number if you’ve already used it, so you’ll have to be careful and think ahead to find the right combination in order to solve the equation. Each level, you’ll see all the elements you can use in each equation. The symbols are in fixed places, as is the answer to the equation, leaving you to fill in the remaining spaces with numbers from 1 to 9.
You can choose the difficulty before you begin: very easy, easy, intermediate, difficult, very difficult, and random. But no matter what difficulty you play on, the game has the same structure: you have to decide where to put numbers 1 through 9. So the difficulty of this game actually lies in the equations, which get more complicated as you advance.
As if that weren’t enough to keep in mind, there’s also a timer on the top of the screen. The faster you solve the puzzle, the better your score. So get ready to test your math skills by solving these puzzles as quickly as possible!
